| On March 31, 2006, OCC hosted an all-day training seminar on underwater investigation of marine structures. The seminar was taught by various staff including project managers, project engineers and junior engineers. All OCC staff that participate in inspection activities were required to attend, including staff from our Massachusetts and New Jersey offices. Seminar topics included: types and effort levels for inspection; deterioration and repair of steel, concrete, and timber; types of waterfront structures and their use; inspection preparation; report writing; and data analysis. This was the second all-day training on waterfront inspection that OCC has offered in the last 3 years. |
