This conference addresses the challenges of combining scientific and engineering advances with assessment and management frameworks and governing policies and regulations to achieve environmental protection goals in sediments remediation and containment. It is attended by scientists, engineers, regulators, site owners, and other environmental professionals representing universities, government agencies, consultants, and R&D and service firms from around the world. Mr. Anastasio was able to gather much information from colleagues and was able to bring this knowledge back to OCC for application on future dredging projects. |
