| Northeast Beaches Conference 2009 | < Back | | Bryan Jones, P.E. and Douglas Gaffney, P.E. will be attending the Northeast Beaches Conference hosted by the Northeast Shore and Beach Preservation Association (NSBPA). The conference will be in Woods Hole, MA from September 21-23, 2009. The purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for discussion on coastal erosion, including overall planning and management of shores and beaches. Mr. Jones will present a paper entitled "Vegetated Reinforced Slope System: An Innovative Slope Reconstruction Case Study". This focuses on OCC's work at the White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth, MA. Mr. Gaffney, president of the NSBPA, will deliver the conference's opening remarks. |
